TRON Director Joseph Kosinski explains why: LEGACY be seen in IMAX 3D

The film oozes with bright colors and stunning visuals. This is one of those movies that would be absurd to pass to see in a theater. If it was not clear, Tron: Legacy is a giant eye. Greetings, programs! Then hit the jump for the full video, plot summary, and my brief impressions of the film.Director Joseph Kosinski recorded a video in an effort to explain what makes IMAX 3D format preferred to see Tron: Legacy this weekend. 3D IMAX only enhances the experience to another level. After seeing the film earlier this week, it’s not just my impression of trailers and screenshots. What matters is that 43-minute film will run at full dimensions IMAX!

For the above not to speed, here’s the official synopsis of the film:
“TRON is a 3D adventure in high technology in a digital world that is unlike anything ever captured on screen. Sam Flynn (Garrett Hedlund), the son of tech-savvy 27-year-old, Kevin Flynn (Jeff Bridges) investigates the disappearance of his father and finds himself in the same world of fierce programs and gladiatorial games where his father has been living for 25 years. “Along with the loyal confidant Kevin (Olivia Wilde), father and son embark on a journey of life and death through a visually stunning cyber universe that has become much more advanced and dangerous in the extreme.
A note of interest, which I had not known before the video is that the IMAX 3D theater viewing the film with a different projector for each eye. I’m not sure if that’s just the format of pumping or actually is something that separates 3D IMAX others, would help clarify the picture. One of the most common complaints of the detractors is that 3D movies become dark when added to the 3D glasses, think.
Without the humor, the film would feel really flat. The highlight is that the other 43 minutes of the film will run at full dimensions IMAX, which is sure to generate a continuous gasp from the audience. Luckily, Jeff Bridges and Olivia Wilde the opportunity to drop some phrases that are illuminated at the hearing and in the end, I wanted to return immediately. Legacy does not have much emotional strength, but is made with stunning visuals and great music of Daft Punk, and lots of humor. Oh, and network games are the explosion of sweet and sad, not only is not enough! The film itself is full of eye candy, and while the plot becomes a bit cumbersome and difficult to manage at the end, the film is still fun.
Look for coverage of Tron: Legacy all this week and Matt review later tonight. You can hit the net with Tron: Legacy this Friday in 3D and 2D nationwide
