SOCIAL NETWORK takes first prize in the Los Angeles Film Critics Awards

Already brought you the American Film Institute and the Boston Society of Film Critics Award “for the best films of 2010 today, and now the Los Angeles Film Critics Association has announced the winners of its awards. critics lists continue to arrive. In a bit of surprise, the other big winner was television Franco-German mini-series-turned movie theater Carlos. Hit the jump for a complete list of winners and finalists.Award-magnet David Fincher picked up Best Picture, Best Screenplay, Best Music, and tied with Carlos Olivier Assayas, Best Director. The film won the award for best foreign language film and best director. The Social Network was, again, the big winner. Oscar heavyweight king of voice only managed to collect an award for Best Actor.
Expect more announcements of critical groups in the coming days, the Association of the Hollywood Foreign Press announced its nominations for the Golden Globes on Tuesday.Some of the winners on this list are a bit more, well, unlike what we have come to expect during this awards season. Do not say that the LAFCA no taste. However, it is nice to see some new options from time to time.
