Do not be intimidated by the angry smiley, the film is described as a “wickedly intelligent mystery thriller” by executive producer Vincenzo Natali (Junction), who sees a slight change in the direction of Cole, who usually plays rudders (directed Real Time in 2008 and the rom-com disappointing 19 months in 2002). The film stars Nick Stahl (Sin City), Mia Kirshner (The Vampire Diaries) and Devon Sawa (Final Destination) and will be produced by splice producer Steve Hoban and Mark Smith (The Thorn). It is not an all-star cast including, but then they never are horrors. The film plays with the ever-present fears about the use and abuse of technology, specifically closed circuit television, and the details of a scenario in which a deadly stalker is able to eavesdrop and manipulate a pair constantly using hidden cameras.

As the torturer acts more twisted and violent, James tries desperately to find out who is behind terrorism in order to save his wife. The stalker used information from images subtly manipulate the unsuspecting couples and cracks in the surface relationship. But it seems that the bully is always a move ahead …Shot from the point of view of hidden cameras, the film follows a thirty-something couple, James and Amy Deakin, because they are secretly recorded 24 / 7 by a mysterious stalker in her home in the streets and in their place work. When Amy suddenly disappears, James is not sure if you’ve been kidnapped or simply left.
Vincenzo Natali (right in photo) said that 388 Arletta Avenue is “a story that could not have existed until recently thanks to the amazing and invasive technology that is now widely available. The fact that it is possible that truly makes terrible. ”
Director Randall Cole goes further, suggesting that “if I could zero below the surface of what most ordinary people supposed to present to the world, even to themselves, you will find very interesting and quite possibly the dark things . If exploited, some of those things, it could even result in a deadly game of cat and mouse, as it does for our main character. “Well, I am definitely sold on the premise sounds intriguing.
Filming is taking place in Toronto and we can expect a 2011 release date
