Here’s the official synopsis of Paul:
Once there, they accidentally meet a stranger who takes them on a crazy trip that changes his world forever.Simon Pegg and Nick Frost (Hot Fuzz, Shaun of the Dead) meet for the adventure comedy about two geeks Pablo science fiction whose pilgrimage to America’s heartland UFO.
For unknown reasons, the ass in space traveling smart decides to escape the complex and take the first vehicle off the city-a rented RV contains earthlings Graeme Willy (Pegg) and Clive Collings (Frost).During the past 60 years, an alien named Paul (voiced by Seth Rogen) has been going on a top secret military base.
Pursued by federal agents and the father of a young fan who accidentally kidnapping, Graeme and Clive escape hatch a plan to return to Paul groping her mothership. And like two nerds struggle to help a little green man could take his fellow outcasts unsuitable for intergalactic heroes.
