Higher Ground, the selection of the category of the competition, marks the directorial debut of Up in the Air stars Vera Farmiga. The list of films premiere at the Sundance Film Festival in January was just announced, and has given us plenty of images of a series of films that will premiere at the prestigious festival. The actress also stars in the film with Joshua Leonard (Blair Witch Project), John Hawkes bone (winter) and Dagmara Dominczyk (Kinsey). Screenplay by Carolyn Briggs and Tim Metcalfe (Kalifornia), the synopsis is as follows: A frustrated young mother becomes a fundamentalist community in search of answers, but after years of dogma and loss, you must find the courage to ask the questions that will help you regain your life.
The script, written by King and Dani Valent, focuses on an American cartographer in the assignment of creating a new survey, more accurate satellite Armenia, which forms a powerful bond with an expatriate art photographer and Armenians.
