Danny Boyle is still waiting for the right time in response to Trainspotting

The director Danny Boyle says he will make a sequel to his acclaimed 1996 film Trainspotting … when is the right time. Speaking to Cinematical, said Boyle,
They are not quite there, but I do not think. “We have a very strong idea that it would be a wonderful thing reapproach to do it again, when they have aged well in a kind of midlife crisis, basically. I mean, let’s tackle on him again, but that will depend on what they are all in place. “It’s going to happen, I think.
The original film focused on a group of heroin addicts starring Ewan McGregor, Ewan Bremner, Jonny Lee Miller, Robert Carlyle, Kevin McKidd, Kelly Macdonald y. Hit the jump for more information on the potential sequel.
However, Boyle agrees with McGregor that the source material is not as strong as Trainspotting:Trainspotting was based on a novel by Irvine Welsh, who wrote a sequel called Porno.
“You’re right, of course, that the book, Porno, it is a great book in the way that Trainspotting, the original novel, is really a masterpiece, I think, as a piece of writing. But we’ve been doing some work on it and it has potential, yes, sure. And when the right time I think approach. ”
Ultimately, it seems that Boyle is interesting in making sure the actors are all old enough to tell a story worth and not just going to make a sequel to Trainspotting, because it can:
And then it becomes that, and I think it would be great. “”This is an imaginative thing to see these guys, you kind of fell in love and a whole generation fell in love with a certain way, and then see them again and I am old, as we all do.
