Anne Hathaway and James McAvoy for zombies and pride and prejudice
So not Portman to star (stay as a producer) and Russell retired. Once, Pride and Prejudice and zombies would be a collaboration between the producer and star of Natalie Portman and director David O. Russell (The Wrestler). Lionsgate has hired Mike White (Year of the Dog) to replace Russell, but right now there is no direct white star.
Details after the jump.Two others have given their name in the hat: Anne Hathaway and James McAvoy. Scarlett Johansson, Bradley Cooper, Mia Wasikowska, Tilda Swinton, and Catherine O’Hara is rumored to function a while back.
It is unclear if Hathaway and McAvoy now top the list, or have not done more to unite. The Report Wasikowska Johansson and Elizabeth, Darcy Cooper. According to Pajiba, Hathaway is considered to play Elizabeth Bennet, while McAvoy play Mr. Darcy. However, it is noteworthy that an Hathaway / McAvoy association suggests an entirely different approach to the casting of Johansson / Cooper.
Pajiba also clarifies its report on Hathway involvement with the remake of Barbarella. She is really interested, but the film will have a difficult time breaking development hell. Although Robert Rodriguez and Robert Luketic is attached to each particular at one time or another, the project currently has no director.
