2011 Sundance Film Festival announces (<=>), NEXT FOCUS alignment, new frontier, NATIVE SHOWCASE and Park City at Midnight

The festival will also feature Richard Linklater’s Slacker in the framework of its “collection” poster.Today, Sundance has announced the films playing in the lineups outside the jurisdiction of “NEXT (<=>)”, Spotlight, Showcase natives, and Park City at midnight. Among the films are playing Hobo with a shotgun, the critically acclaimed submarine, new horror film by Lucky McKee is the woman, and cutting Meek, starring Michelle Williams and Paul Dano. Yesterday it was reported the game films in competition at the 2011 Sundance Film Festival. Each poster has its own mission statement that relates to the selected films.

After the original vision of the president and founder, Robert Redford, Sundance Institute has maintained its commitment to support indigenous cinema. This exhibition shows new work that contributes to global understanding and appreciation of these artists.
REC / USA (Director: Billy Luther) – Three families of the Laguna Pueblo tribe Grab prepare for the day when food is thrown from a roof to the community waiting below – an annual prayer of the whole community of abundance, grace and renewal. World premiere.Documentary, narrated by Parker Posey.
Indian Court, a program of shorts from around the world for Native American and indigenous filmmakers. The seven short films to be presented together as part of the native sample will be announced on 6 December.
