2011 Sundance Film Festival Adds silent house

Elizabeth Olsen, Adam Trese, Eric Sheffer Stevens, Julia Taylor Ross, Haley Murphy, and star Adam Barnett.Silent House is a remake of a horror film from Uruguay, which focuses on a father and daughter to spend the night in an old house when they hear a sound that seems to come from above. The Sundance Film Festival has added to its 2011 lineup Silent House.

Filmmaking duo Chris Kentis and Laura Lau Back to the Festival with psychological thriller
PARK CITY, Utah – Sundance Institute announced today that the filmmakers Chris Kentis and Laura Lau (Open Water) returns to the Sundance Film Festival with his latest film, Silent House, which will have its world premiere at the exit of the Park competition City at Midnight section.

Amazingly captured with a continuous camera shot, silent house tracks panic increasing its enigmatic leader, Elizabeth Olsen, who is caught in a disturbing nightmare. Following Open Water, which screened at the 2004 Sundance Film Festival, film duo Chris Kentis and Laura Lau, again off the face of fear in this fascinating psychological thriller. Never be limited to a difficult production, brain Kentis and Lau a truly unique experience of terror with immediate intimacy and terror concern.
With the addition of this film, the festival will present 118 films representing 29 countries with 40 first-time filmmakers, including 25 in competition. 95 films in the Festival will be world premieres.These films were selected from 3,812 feature film submissions composed of 1,943 U.S. and 1,869 international feature-length films.
